Museum
The museum was founded in 1901 by local businessman and city Wilhelm Ludwig. In the years 1992 - 2001 were gradually each exposure, including exposure and filial located in Building 1 School. The Fund currently draws from donations, collections and museum purchases. Display items that were part of our original collections are now very rare - there are more again return or at least loaned exhibits.
The museum offers four exposures overview of the historical development Rýmařov, the history of the mining and textile industries (can not forget the unique collection of silk brocades) and the geology of the southern Jesenicka. It comprises the external freely available geological exposure in Hrádek. The museum is also Octopus Gallery.
