Rýmařov – the Edrovice Pond
It is possible to bathe in the pleasant surroundings at the outskirts of the town, approximately 750 m from Náměstí Míru – Peace Square (Sokolovská Street) in Rýmařov. The pond is in a grassy area, with a gentle slope leading into the water. Tourists can have walking or cycling tours in the surrounding area. There is not a great variety of services at the place (a playground, a slide, toilets, a refreshment kiosk), but they are sufficient for the visitors whose priority is to bathe in the countryside environment.
The Tvrdkov Water Reservoir
The bathing area is in the pleasant surroundings of the Tvrdkov stream valley, approximately 750 m far from the Tvrdkov village. The grassy area around the reservoir has a surface of 150 x 50 m and a gentle slope leads into the water. There are no facilities around this reservoir. Tourists can walk, fish or cycle in the surroundings.
The Slezská Harta Water Reservoir
This reservoir on the river Moravice has a surface of 923 hectares. It is a region suitable for recreational activities and fishing, as well as bathing. Tourists enjoy cycling in its surroundings. The reservoir is accessible from the villages of Nová Pláň, Leskovec, Razová, and Roudno. There are various catering and accommodation possibilities.
The Water Reservoir in Nová Ves (in the village of Dolní Moravice)
This water reservoir is suitable for bathing and fishing. It was built in the year 1996, at the south-eastern outskirts of the village Nová Ves (administratively belonging to the village of Dolní Moravice), close to the confluence of two brooks which spring not far from this place and which feed the Moravice stream.
The Swimming Pool in the Town of Bruntál
The swimming pool is located in the middle of a park in the centre of the town. It has a surface of 33 x 15 m and it is 1.9 m deep; the paddling pool for children is 15 x 15 m. There are facilities to play volleyball and other ball games on the playground. For the children there is a sandpit, slides, crawl tunnels, and water slides. There is also a restaurant. The Thermal Pool in Velké Losiny
This is located in the spa park area in Velké Losiny. The pool is fed by the Žerotín hot spring (natural healing thermal sulphur water with increased content of hydrogen sulphide, hydrosulphide, thiosulphates and fluorides), with a temperature of 32 - 36°C.
